What is a New Moon?
A new moon occurs when the transit (moving) Sun and Moon are in the exact same position in the Zodiac (called a conjunction). New moons are related to beginnings, have high energy, and are enthusiastic.

A full moon occurs when the transit (moving) Sun and Moon are in the exact opposite positions in the Zodiac (called an opposition). Full moons are related to endings, culminations, and are emotional energy.
Full Moon in Capricorn: July 3rd 2023 (7:39AM ET/4:39AM PT)
The Capricorn full moon is often focused on progress, success, and achievement. We can see results from the work we've put in, and if we've done things the right way and for the right reasons, we can hit new heights, make what we want happen, get recognition, and make progress on our path. We can feel connected to the path we're on, and like we're going in the right direction.
If we haven't done things the right way or for the right reasons, we may experience setbacks, delays, and blocks on our path. We may be confused, uncertain, and insecure, and this can get in the way. We need to work on being practical and disciplined, and get clear about what we want.
Capricorn rules responsibilities, and we may feel easily overwhelmed by responsibilities we have. We can feel the weight of them pushing us down, and we need to work on managing them better. We may need to work on saying no more, and leaving room for small breaks where we can.
The full moon is trine (beneficial aspect, 4 signs away) transit (moving) Jupiter in Taurus and opposite Mercury in Cancer. The trine to Jupiter is very helpful, especially with keeping us on the right path and making sure we're not too overwhelmed by what we have to do.
