What is Cybermagick ?

Cybermagick is a term used to describe the use of technology and the internet as a tool for practicing magic. This can include using digital platforms for spell-casting, divination, and other rituals, as well as incorporating technology into traditional practices. Some practitioners believe that the energy of the internet and digital devices can be harnessed for magical purposes.

Witches, or those who practice witchcraft, may use cybermagick in a variety of ways. For example, they may use social media to connect with other practitioners and share information about spells and rituals. They may also use online platforms to sell spell ingredients or magical tools. Additionally, some witches may use virtual reality or augmented reality technologies to create immersive magical environments.

Cybermagick can also be used for more practical purposes, such as using spells to protect against hacking or to bring good luck in online financial transactions.

It's important to note that the practice of cybermagick is controversial within the witchcraft community, with some practitioners believing that the use of technology detracts from the traditional, organic nature of witchcraft. Others argue that the incorporation of technology is a natural evolution of the craft.

And unfortunally there is very little published on the subject. But as a starting point here is one of the books references that I found. The Cyber Spellbook

As with any form of magic, the effectiveness of cybermagick depends on the individual practitioner's belief and intent.enter image description here
